Tuina Massage
After assessing the needs of each client the practitioner may use various forms of acupuncture & moxibustion, cupping, guasha and/or tuina massage to regulate your body's channels and internal organs. Regulating these channels and organs promotes our body's natural process to heal.

WHAT WE PRACTICE

Daoist Medicine

Classical Chinese medicine largely developed by Daoist philosophy and refined by continued practice and evolution over thousands of years. These beliefs are based on self-cultivation in our lives and is the focus of practice when treating clients at New Hope OM. Better health is found in the balance of Yin & Yang, the Five Elements and achieving better mental, physical and spiritual health by cultivating wellness in our lives.

For clients we advocate self-cultivation to improve their quality of life and their current health concerns. Clients are encouraged to focus on cultivating their thoughts and awareness to change life-long beliefs and behaviors. These transformations have a meaningful impact on a person's relative state of health and wellness. As one changes the patterns which initially led to an imbalanced state, the illness may be resolved and wellness can return.
Ask Yourself
What do you cultivate in your life daily, weekly, monthly and yearly?
What choices do you make daily to improve your physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing?
As for Licensed Acupuncturists (L.Ac.), they must first graduate from a Master or Doctoral program accredited by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Once they pass board exams by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) candidates are then eligible to be licensed by their state acupuncture board. Licensed acupuncturists are also required to keep licenses current by attending continued education classes.
